APPSC Group-1 Results Released.. 87 Posts Filled

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has finally released the selection list for the Group-1 posts. With the removal of obstacles related to cases pending in the High Court, the final selection list was announced on Friday evening. Out of a total of 89 posts, candidates were selected for 87 posts, while two posts under the sports quota have been temporarily withheld as per court orders. These two posts are Assistant Commissioner of State Tax and DSP.

The Group-1 recruitment process began with the release of the notification on December 8, 2023. The preliminary examination was conducted on March 17, 2024, and the mains examination in May 2025, with the results announced in June. Subsequently, interviews for general candidates were conducted from June 23 to July 15, 2024, while interviews for sports quota candidates were completed on January 7 of this year. The selected posts include key positions such as Deputy Collector, DSP, Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, RTO, and Mandal Development Officer.
