

At the grand trailer launch of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups in Bengaluru, Rocking Star Yash said the film was conceived with the ambition of taking Indian cinema to a global platform. The trailer introduces a high-octane gangster world driven by power, love, betrayal and revenge, with Yash appearing in two contrasting shades as Raya and Ticket. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in pivotal roles. Packed with intense action, striking visuals, emotional depth and layered characters, the trailer has significantly raised expectations for the film.
Speaking at the event, Shivaraj Kumar praised the trailer and expressed happiness over Yash’s growth as an actor. Yash thanked the entire team, particularly Geetu Mohandas and producer KVN Venkat, for their dedication and commitment to the ambitious project. Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English over nearly 200 days, the film will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on August 26, 2026. Yash expressed confidence that the film would be a memorable and mind-blowing cinematic experience.
