

Actress Samantha made an emotional announcement during the thanksgiving event of Maa Inti Bangaram, stating that she is taking a temporary break from films. Sharing her happiness about this new phase in her life, Samantha said she would return to the silver screen after a short hiatus. The film, directed by Nandini Reddy, has emerged as a successful comeback for the actress, reportedly crossing the ₹50 crore mark at the box office. The event was attended by Samantha, Raj Nidimoru, Nandini Reddy, Sreemukhi and Diganth.
Reflecting on her career and personal experiences, Samantha said taking risks is essential for growth and that self-confidence is the foundation of every relationship. She described Maa Inti Bangaram as a “bonus” in her career after a prolonged break due to health concerns. Raj Nidimoru explained that Nandini Reddy directed the film as part of a collaborative creative process, while Nandini praised Samantha’s transformation as an actor since The Family Man, saying it is clearly reflected in the film.
