Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s latest film Irumudi, in which he appears in a role completely different from his previous films, is making a strong impact at the box office. His new look and performance have impressed fans and are being considered among the major reasons behind the film’s positive reception. The movie reportedly achieved break-even in several areas within around 40 hours of its release, which is considered a notable achievement in the current theatrical market.
Ticket sales are continuing at a rapid pace, with Saturday midnight shows reportedly turning houseful in several locations across the Telugu states. The film is said to have collected more than ₹25 crore gross on its opening day, while the strong demand and positive word of mouth are expected to boost its second-day collections further. Trade circles are now keenly watching whether Irumudi can emerge as the biggest theatrical success of Ravi Teja’s career and potentially reach a lifetime gross of ₹150–200 crore in the Telugu states.
