‘Pushpa’ Role Was Originally Meant for Me - Sivaji

Actor Sivaji has revealed an interesting detail about Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s blockbuster Pushpa. Speaking during the promotional event of his upcoming film Tella Kagitham, Sivaji said that director Sukumar had initially considered him for the role of Mangalam Srinu. However, he said the role eventually went to Sunil because the character was ultimately written for him. Sivaji praised Sunil’s performance, saying he brought the character to life exceptionally well.

Talking about Tella Kagitham, Sivaji said it was the second story he heard after deciding to return to films and that he liked it so much that he initially wanted to produce it himself. The project eventually came under the joint production of Dil Raju and Krishna Kommalapati and reached him as an actor. Sivaji also revealed that he is currently working on Kurmaavataram, a film that gives significant importance to graphics, alongside Tella Kagitham.
