Not as a Heroine, But as a Producer: Alia Bhatt Takes a New Step!

Alia Bhatt is exploring a new side of her career by stepping forward as a producer with Don’t Be Shy. The romantic comedy drama has been produced under her Eternal Sunshine Productions banner in association with her sister Shaheen Bhatt. Directed by Sriti Mukherji, the film does not feature Alia as an actress, but she has played an important role behind the scenes as a producer.

The film revolves around the lives of four friends and explores themes such as friendship, love, separation, future dreams and family relationships. The project appears to focus on bringing fresh stories and new talent to the audience. Arushi Bajaj, Bianca Aurora, Piyush Khati and Ansh Duggal play the lead roles.

Don’t Be Shy will skip a theatrical release and premiere directly on OTT. The film will stream worldwide on Amazon Prime Video from September 25. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is busy with projects including Love & War, Brahmastra 3 and Tumbbad 2. Her film Alpha is also set to stream on Netflix from August 28.
