No One Can Succeed Alone.. Preity Zinta’s Key Remarks

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has opened up about the challenges faced by newcomers when she began her career. After a gap of nearly eight years, the actress recently returned to the screen with ‘Batwara 1947’ and ‘Vibe’. In a recent interview, she recalled her early days in the film industry and said aspiring actors once needed to know someone in the industry to get opportunities. She noted that technology, auditions and casting directors have made it easier for newcomers to showcase their talent today.

Preity said casting directors and the current audition system were not available when she started out, and that she built her career largely by finding opportunities on her own. At the same time, she acknowledged the support she received from several people in and outside the industry, including Bobby Deol. She said no one achieves success entirely alone and recalled learning a great deal from Manisha Koirala and Shah Rukh Khan while working on her debut film ‘Dil Se’.
