Is ‘Raaka’ a Telugu Film or a Tamil Film?

Allu Arjun’s upcoming film ‘Raaka’, directed by blockbuster filmmaker Atlee, has been generating considerable buzz following the director’s recent comments. Atlee praised Sai Abhyankkar and said he aims to take ‘Raaka’ to the Oscars and make Tamil audiences proud. His remarks quickly went viral on social media, prompting questions among fans about whether the film is primarily a Tamil production featuring a Telugu actor in the lead, or whether it is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and other languages before release.

The discussions have also extended to the film’s release strategy. According to reports, the team is considering releasing ‘Raaka’ in two parts in 2027 and 2028, while another option is to release it as a single film directly in 2028.
