‘Irumudi’ Gets Early Overseas Reactions

Ravi Teja’s ‘Irumudi’, directed by Shiva Nirvana, is set to release in India on August 21, 2026. Ahead of its theatrical release, the film had overseas premiere shows, where some viewers shared their initial reactions on social media.

‘Irumudi’ follows an alcohol-addicted auto driver and small-business owner with a violent past who lives peacefully with his young daughter. At her request, he undertakes an Ayyappa Deeksha pilgrimage, which brings significant changes to his life and takes him on a journey of faith, redemption and protecting his community. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead, while Sai Kumar and Baby Nakshathra appear in key roles. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
