

Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, and South star Sai Pallavi stars as Sita in the highly anticipated film Ramayana, directed by acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari. Recently, special glimpses from the film were released, sparking criticism from some viewers regarding the visual effects. Responding to the backlash, Hrithik Roshan said, “Directors of films like Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali, Ramayana, Koi Mil Gaya, and Krrish are my heroes. Their courage and vision to create never before seen cinematic experiences deserve our respect”.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, known for the hit Dangal, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor in the roles of Rama and Parashurama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravanasura. The team recently released special glimpses on Hanuman Jayanti, showcasing Rama’s look. While the glimpses impressed many, netizens heavily criticized the VFX, questioning the quality in a 4000 crore budget production and comparing it to other films. The movie is produced jointly by Namit Malhotra and Yash.
