Faria Abdullah, who won hearts with her role as Chitti in ‘Jathi Ratnalu’, says she is now looking forward to more challenging and diverse roles in her career. She revealed that the role played by Amritha Aiyer in ‘HanuMan’ was initially offered to her, but she could not understand the importance of the character at that time and missed the opportunity. Faria said she still regrets letting go of that film.
Apart from acting, Faria is also exploring other creative fields in cinema. She shared that she provided dubbing for the film ‘Jetty’ and worked on lyrics and choreography for a song in ‘Mathu Vadalara 2’. She added that she has always been interested in direction and plans to begin her directorial attempts next year. According to her, she wants to create films that reflect her own style while giving importance to strong storytelling.
Faria also spoke about love and marriage, saying both are different aspects of life. She believes the younger generation is slowly losing interest in marriage and that the meaning of relationships may change in the future. As an actress, she wants to experiment with all kinds of roles, especially action-oriented and psychologically intense characters. She also said her upcoming film ‘Bhagavanthudu’ will showcase her in a refreshing rural role.
