Milk is considered a nutritious food, but doctors caution that it may not be suitable for everyone. People suffering from liver-related issues such as jaundice should avoid milk, as its fat and protein content can put extra strain on an already weakened liver. Similarly, individuals with fatty liver disease must be cautious, as full-fat milk can increase fat accumulation in the liver. In such cases, only low-fat milk should be consumed in limited quantities, and that too under medical advice.
Those with lactose intolerance may experience symptoms like bloating, abdominal pain, gas, vomiting, or diarrhea after consuming milk due to the lack of digestive enzymes. Additionally, people facing frequent digestive issues like acidity, constipation, or bloating may find milk difficult to digest, especially at night. Experts also note that excessive milk consumption can worsen acne and oily skin due to hormonal effects. Consulting a doctor before including milk in the diet is strongly recommended for individuals with these conditions.
