Traditional village style green chilli chutney is a delicious accompaniment best enjoyed with hot rice or chapatis. It delivers a rich and spicy flavor loved in rural cuisine.
To prepare it, green chillies, onions, garlic, tamarind, peanuts, coriander, cumin, curry leaves, salt, and oil are required. Green chillies and peanuts are lightly roasted before grinding.
All ingredients are then ground together into a coarse paste. A tempering of curry leaves in hot oil is added at the end. The chutney is ready to serve and offers a heavenly taste with rice.
