Roshan Meka, son of veteran Telugu actor Srikanth, is steadily working to establish himself in Tollywood. He made his debut with Nirmala Convent in 2016, produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna, which gave him the launchpad he needed. After a four-year gap, he returned with Pelli Sandadi in 2021, impressing audiences and critics alike with his acting and dance performances. Now, Roshan is on the lookout for a blockbuster film that can elevate his career to the next level.
His upcoming film, Champion, is progressing rapidly, and fans have more reason to cheer: Roshan has reportedly signed a new project with acclaimed director Sailesh Kolanu, who made a mark with the Hit franchise. All three installments of Hit, featuring different lead actors, were box office successes, cementing Sailesh’s reputation as one of Tollywood’s most sought-after directors.
The new project, produced by Naga Vamshi under Sithara Entertainments, is described as a youthful romantic entertainer perfectly suited to Roshan’s age and style. Shooting for this untitled film is expected to begin once he wraps up Champion, his upcoming sports drama. Speaking of Champion, the renowned production house Vyjayanthi Movies is backing the project with a budget exceeding ₹50 crore, which is a huge investment for an upcoming actor.
The film promises to be a visual spectacle with top-notch technical standards, and Pradeep Advaitham is directing it. With strong backing from prominent production houses for his next two projects, Roshan aims to make the most of this promising phase and strengthen his foothold in Tollywood.
