Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Gopichand Malineni are working together on a highly anticipated project. A substantial portion of the film’s shoot was expected to be completed by now, but a minor injury to Balakrishna reportedly resulted in a temporary break in production.
The film was initially being planned for a Dussehra release. Later, the makers reportedly shifted the release to the first week of December. However, due to the unexpected gap in shooting, the film may now be pushed further to the last week of December.
If the latest reports turn out to be true, Balakrishna’s mass entertainer could hit the screens during the Christmas season. However, the film may face strong competition at the box office, as several highly anticipated Hollywood releases are also expected around the same period. With considerable interest among Telugu audiences for those films, the competition could be intense.
An official announcement from the makers regarding the revised release date is still awaited.
