With Baahubali, S.S. Rajamouli rewrote the history of Indian cinema and now, he is reportedly set to revive the Mahishmati kingdom once again! But this time, it won’t be a live-action spectacle.

According to industry buzz, Rajamouli is planning to create ‘Baahubali 3’ as an AI-powered animated version.

Due to the busy schedules of Prabhas, Anushka, and Rana, live-action production became difficult, prompting Rajamouli to take this innovative route. Sources also reveal that MM Keeravani and Vijayendra Prasad will be part of this grand project. Industry talk suggests that around 100 top animators are working on this massive venture, which is expected to release in 2027.
