Viveka Murder Case: Accused Sunil Yadav Makes Fresh Allegations

Accused-2 Sunil Yadav has made fresh allegations in the Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case, claiming that former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Y.S. Bharathi and Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy benefited from the former minister’s death. Yadav alleged that a larger conspiracy was behind the murder and demanded that the investigation examine those he claims benefited from the crime. These are allegations made by Yadav and should not be treated as established facts. The CBI has previously investigated the case and named Avinash Reddy and others in its probe.

Yadav also claimed that he had no motive to kill Vivekananda Reddy and alleged that he faced threats after spending several years in jail in connection with the case. He sought protection from the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments and said he was willing to provide information to investigating agencies. The Supreme Court had earlier transferred the trial to a CBI Special Court in Hyderabad and directed an independent investigation into the alleged larger conspiracy.
