Veteran Actor Mushtaq Khan Passes Away

Veteran Bollywood actor Mushtaq Khan, known for his memorable supporting and comic roles in films such as Welcome, Aashiqui, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, passed away on Thursday, September 24, in Mumbai. He had been undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital and had reportedly been battling cancer for several years. His business partner Shivam confirmed the news. According to reports, his last rites will be held on Friday.

Mushtaq Khan had a career spanning more than three decades and became a familiar face in Hindi cinema through his supporting and comedy characters. He was particularly remembered for his role in Welcome. His career also included films and television projects across several years. In November 2024, he made headlines after reportedly being kidnapped and held captive for several hours following an event invitation. His death has led to an outpouring of condolences from fans and members of the film industry.
