UP Defence Production Giving Pakistan Sleepless Nights - Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said BrahMos missiles being manufactured in Lucknow are giving “sleepless nights” to Pakistan, while AK-203 rifles produced in Amethi are creating a similar challenge for Naxalites and terrorists. Shah made the remarks while addressing the inauguration of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show in Greater Noida. He highlighted investments across the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor and said India was continuing its economic progress despite challenging global conditions.

Shah also highlighted the growth of defence manufacturing in Uttar Pradesh and across the country. He said political stability under Prime Minister Narendra Modi was helping ensure continuity in policy implementation and referred to the improvement in law and order in Uttar Pradesh since 2017. The UP International Trade Show is being held from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida, bringing together manufacturers, MSMEs, exporters, artisans, startups and international buyers.
