Indian agencies have apprehended three absconding Indian gangsters in Malaysia and deported them to India, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said. The fugitives, identified as Jaspreet Singh, Ajay Singh and Pawandeep Singh, are allegedly linked to the Bambiha Gang. They have been sent into police custody after being brought back to India.
According to Amit Shah, the three are accused of multiple crimes, including extortion, cross-border arms and narcotics trafficking, and an alleged foiled grenade attack in Ludhiana. He said the action reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a safe and secure India. Indian agencies have facilitated the deportation of 51 hardened criminals to India in 2026 so far, he added.
