Kiran Kumar, popularly known on social media as ‘Aggepetta Maccha’, has passed away, leaving fans and the people of Tirupati in deep sorrow. Known for his distinctive way of speaking, unique expressions and mannerisms, Kiran had gained widespread recognition on social media. He was admitted to SVIMS Hospital in Tirupati on October 5 after falling seriously ill. Despite receiving ventilator support, his condition reportedly deteriorated and he passed away. His death left his family, friends and followers deeply shocked.

A large number of fans gathered at YSR Colony in Tirupati Rural to attend Kiran Kumar’s last rites and bid him a tearful farewell. His dialogues and facial expressions had become popular as memes and entertained Telugu audiences across social media. He also gained further recognition through YouTube interviews and television programmes. YouTubers, artists and friends who had worked with him expressed their condolences. Fans struggled to come to terms with the loss of the social media personality who had brought smiles to many with his videos.
