The Supreme Court of India has issued a public advisory warning citizens about fraudulent websites that impersonate its official portal. The Court urged people to remain vigilant and verify the website address before accessing any online services or information related to the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court clarified that sci.gov.in is its only official website. It warned that fake websites could spread misinformation, mislead users or attempt to steal personal and financial information. Citizens have been advised to access case status, judgments, notices and other official services only through the authentic website. The advisory comes amid growing concerns over cyber fraud and fake government portals.
