Six State CMs Invited to Indrakeeladri Dasara Festivities

The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to invite the Chief Ministers of six states to the Dasara Navaratri festivities at Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada from October 11 to 20. Following Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s directions, Health Minister Y. Satya Kumar Yadav and Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) are coordinating the invitation programme. The Chief Ministers of Assam, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra and Rajasthan will be invited to the celebrations.

As part of the programme, Satya Kumar Yadav and Kesineni Sivanath met Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati on Thursday and presented him with an invitation to attend the Dasara festivities. They had earlier met Assam Health Minister Ashok Singhal and Chief Secretary Kothari Ravi separately. The delegation highlighted the significance of the Indrakeeladri celebrations, which attract devotees from across the country.
