SBI Services During Bank Strike.. Key Instructions for Customers

State Bank of India has announced relief for customers ahead of the proposed three-day nationwide bank strike from September 28 to 30, 2026. According to SBI's customer communication, ATM transaction charges will be waived during the three-day period. The bank has also advised customers to complete important branch-related transactions before the strike to avoid possible inconvenience.

Customers can continue to use ATMs and other self-service and digital banking channels during the strike period. These include YONO, internet banking, mobile banking, UPI and other digital payment facilities. The Finance Ministry has also announced that all Public Sector Banks and Regional Rural Banks will function normally on Sunday, September 27, with RBI approval for branches, offices, ATM-linked branches and currency chests to remain operational that day.
