Hyderabad has largely remained dry despite scattered rainfall activity across parts of the state. According to weather reports, several districts received rainfall due to localized conditions, but the capital city witnessed very little precipitation. The overall situation indicates uneven distribution of rains, raising concerns among residents and officials alike.
Officials revealed that the state recorded an average rainfall of 156.3 mm so far, while the normal expected rainfall stands at 112.5 mm, showing a deviation of -28% in certain regions. Weather experts have also warned that rainfall may further decline by nearly 50% on July 22 and 23. However, there is a possibility of light showers returning to Hyderabad after July 20, offering some relief.
