PM Modi Arrives in Kyrgyzstan for SCO Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit. Members of the Indian diaspora gave the Prime Minister a warm welcome upon his arrival. The atmosphere in Bishkek turned festive as the community raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and expressed their enthusiasm over Modi’s visit.

During his two-day visit, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to participate in several bilateral meetings with leaders of participating countries. He is expected to discuss key regional and global issues on the sidelines of the SCO summit. Modi may also hold a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, with bilateral ties and other strategic issues likely to be discussed.
