With Dussehra approaching and holidays set to begin tomorrow, people are heading to their hometowns to celebrate the festival with their families. The Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) and Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) in Hyderabad are witnessing heavy passenger traffic as travellers arrive in large numbers to board buses to their native places.
To manage the festive rush, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) is set to operate 7,000 special buses for Dussehra. However, passengers travelling on these special services will be charged an additional 40 per cent fare, according to the information provided. The demand for bus services is expected to remain high during the festive holiday period.
