Anna Lezhneva, wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, visited several prominent temples in the Pithapuram constituency on the occasion of the first Friday of the Sravana month. She offered special prayers at the Kukkuteswara Swamy Temple in the historic Pada Gaya pilgrimage centre. Temple officials welcomed her and arranged the necessary protocols. After the darshan, Vedic scholars offered their blessings. She also visited the Sripada Srivallabha Mahasamsthanam during her visit to Pithapuram.
Anna Lezhneva later visited the Bhimeswara Swamy Temple and the shrine of the Goddess in Draksharama, Konaseema district, where she performed special prayers. State Minister Vasamshetty Subhash and Jana Sena in-charge Polishetti Chandrasekhar welcomed her at the temple. Her recent temple visits are reportedly connected with prayers and vows following Pawan Kalyan’s successful shoulder surgery at a hospital in Mumbai. A few days earlier, Anna Lezhneva had also visited Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, reaching the shrine on foot via the Alipiri steps.
