Opposition Leaders Detained During Jantar Mantar Protest

Several opposition leaders staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan were among those who participated in the demonstration.

Police detained several opposition leaders who arrived to join the protest, along with student union leaders. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal was also taken into custody, while police arrested Neha Bora. The arrests have added to the ongoing tensions surrounding the protest in the national capital.
