Mukesh Ambani’s preference for simple Indian street food has once again attracted attention on social media. Several widely circulated videos show the Reliance Industries Chairman enjoying traditional local snacks despite his billionaire status. In one video from an Anna Seva event in Jogwad village near Jamnagar, Gujarat, Ambani was seen eating freshly prepared mirchi bhajiya at a local stall. He also praised the snack, calling Khambhalia’s bhajiya world famous.
More recently, another video from March 2026 showed Ambani in the VIP box at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup semi-final between India and England. Instead of opting for an elaborate spread, he was seen enjoying a simple vada pav with fried green chilli. His fondness for Indian street food has also been highlighted by his wife, Nita Ambani, who recalled during a visit to a chaat shop in Varanasi that Mukesh would have loved the food. These moments have resonated with social media users and highlighted his preference for familiar Indian flavours.
