

Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Captain N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has assured farmers that the government will procure all wet grain without exception. He said farmers need not worry, as the state remains committed to supporting them during adverse weather conditions.
He further stated that the procured wet grain is being immediately transported to boiled rice mills. Around 9,214 metric tonnes of wet paddy affected by unseasonal rains have already been moved to rice mills. The Minister also held a video conference with senior officials, including the Chief Secretary, Deputy Chief Minister, district collectors, police, transport, and civil supplies departments, to review the situation. He reiterated that the government will not tolerate any loss to farmers and remains fully committed to purchasing every grain.
