Mega Defence Expo at Telangana Global Summit

Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju said that a large-scale Defence Expo will be organised in Hyderabad from December 7 to 9 as part of the Telangana Global Summit–2026. An air show will also be held on December 9. During a review meeting at the state secretariat, the Chief Secretary discussed arrangements for the expo, participating organisations, publicity and security measures. He said around 30 percent of industries associated with the defence and aerospace sectors are based in Hyderabad.

Sanjay Jaju said leading national and international defence and aerospace companies are being invited to participate in the expo. Roadshows will be held in Hyderabad on October 24 and New Delhi on October 29 to promote the event. Organisations such as HAL, BEL and BDL are expected to showcase their products and facilitate buyer-seller meetings, business interactions, MoUs, startup opportunities and seminars. The Chief Secretary said the expo would provide a major platform to promote investment and expansion in Telangana’s defence and aerospace sectors.
