KTR Applauds BRS Leader Abdul Mukheet Chanda

BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) lauded BRS leader Abdul Mukheet Chanda for donating ₹50 lakh towards the education of orphaned and economically disadvantaged students. The contribution was made by reducing unnecessary expenses during the wedding celebrations of his elder son. Speaking at a programme held at his residence in Nandinagar, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, KTR praised the family for choosing social responsibility over lavish celebrations.

The donation will be utilised through the "Gift a Smile" initiative, implemented with the support of the Sir Syed Society. The programme aims to identify meritorious students studying in government educational institutions who are orphans or come from financially underprivileged backgrounds. KTR described the gesture as an inspiring example of how family celebrations can be transformed into meaningful opportunities to support education and empower deserving students.
