Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) students from Civil, Mechanical, and Electronics branches are set to receive job opportunities in Japan along with India. Following Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s Japan visit, an MoU was signed with Kitakyushu city and later an agreement was finalized with Tokyo-based LS Partners and a career consultancy firm. Under this initiative, students will be trained and placed in sectors like semiconductors, 3D design, and engineering based on their skills and interest.
To support this global opportunity, Japanese language training has already begun at the JNTU campus with trained experts focusing on communication skills, personality development, and technical awareness. Plans are also underway to establish a dedicated Japanese language training center within the university campus. Officials believe this initiative will significantly improve students’ employability in Japan’s IT and engineering sectors.
