Heavy rains and adverse weather conditions have severely disrupted flight operations across Andhra Pradesh. Several flights have reportedly been diverted as airports faced challenging weather conditions, affecting passengers travelling to and from key destinations in the state.

An IndiGo flight operating from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada was diverted to Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (Shamshabad) due to the unfavorable weather. Meanwhile, a Star Air flight scheduled to travel from Shamshabad to Rajahmundry was diverted to Bengaluru. Further updates on flight operations are expected as weather conditions change.
