Grand Ganesh Celebrations Held in Canada’s Oakville

Telugu families settled in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, came together to celebrate Ganesh Utsav with great enthusiasm and devotion. The celebrations were organised by Team Yuva, with youngsters working together to conduct the festivities in a vibrant and traditional manner. The event provided an opportunity for families to come together while keeping Indian culture and traditions alive away from their homeland.

Team Yuva representatives said the celebrations were organised to ensure that younger generations growing up abroad understand the importance of Indian festivals and remain connected to their cultural roots. Oakville Mayor Rob Burton attended the celebrations as a special guest and appreciated the colourful nature of Indian festivals. He said the Ganesh Utsav conveyed the important message of unity in diversity. A committee led by Raghu Yadav, Madhu Reddy, Venkat Reddy, Sivakumar Pullemela, Harishwar Reddy, Abhilash Reddy, Sivakumar, Arun Reddy, Manish, Dinesh, Karthik Reddy, Naga Sai, Dharma, Shashidhar Reddy and Uday Reddy, along with others, made arrangements for the successful event.
