Flames of Dissent in AP TDP

Dissent is reportedly rising within the AP TDP over the recent party committee appointments. Senior leaders have expressed dissatisfaction over what they see as reduced importance being given under the name of promoting youth leadership. Several key leaders have allegedly been moved to symbolic or less influential positions.

Former state president Kala Venkata Rao was assigned a vice president role, while senior leaders like Bonda and Somireddy were removed from the Politburo, triggering internal unrest. Reports also suggest that a majority of the 175-member 2024 “winning team” observers have been sidelined, adding to growing discontent within the party.
