Fake Bookings in TTD’s Name.. Big Alert for Devotees!

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has urged devotees to remain vigilant against fraud carried out through fake websites, WhatsApp accounts and social media pages offering Tirumala darshan, Arjitha Seva and accommodation bookings. Fraudsters are allegedly using the TTD name, logo and images to attract devotees and collect money by promising bookings. TTD has advised devotees to make all bookings only through its official website or authorised app and to avoid unauthorised links and messages received through WhatsApp or social media.

TTD said it is maintaining special surveillance in coordination with its IT, vigilance and cybercrime teams to identify and take action against fraudulent digital platforms. Over the past two years, 259 fake websites have reportedly been identified and removed, with cases registered against several people linked to them. Devotees have been advised not to transfer money to unknown individuals for bookings and to verify whether any website or social media account using the TTD name or logo is official before responding.
