Egypt Opens World's Largest Defence Headquarters

Egypt has inaugurated the Octagon, regarded as the world's largest defence headquarters, near Cairo. Spread across nearly 22,000 acres, the massive complex has been designed to serve as the central command and administrative hub for the Egyptian Armed Forces.

The Octagon will function as Egypt's integrated military and defence headquarters, bringing key defence operations and command structures under one roof. The project is expected to strengthen coordination, planning, and operational efficiency within the country's armed forces.
