Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials conducted searches at the residence of former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in connection with the CMRL money laundering case. Reports say the rented residence in Thiruvananthapuram was among the key locations targeted. Simultaneous raids were carried out across nearly 10 locations in Kerala as part of the ongoing investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The searches have created a major political stir in the state.
Authorities are continuing their probe into alleged financial irregularities linked to the case, intensifying scrutiny under central investigative agencies. The ED action has triggered strong reactions in political circles, with the developments being closely monitored across Kerala. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
