Disciplinary Committee Issues Notice to Minister Konda Surekha

The Congress disciplinary committee has issued a notice to Minister Konda Surekha, seeking an explanation over remarks made by her daughter, Sushmita. The committee has reportedly taken the comments made by Sushmita against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy seriously. Surekha has been directed to submit her explanation within three days.

The disciplinary committee has also issued a notice to former minister Chinna Reddy. The notice seeks an explanation over his remarks against an MLA in Wanaparthy. He has also been asked to respond within three days. The series of notices has triggered discussion within the Congress party.
