Command and Control Centre for Farmers Amid El Niño Conditions

To provide timely advisories and relief measures to farmers in the state amid the El Niño conditions, the government has set up a Command and Control Centre (CCC) on the premises of the Integrated Call Centre at Gannavaram in Krishna district. Agriculture Special Chief Secretary Rajasekhar and Director Manjir Jilani inspected the centre on Tuesday and reviewed the services being provided to farmers.

CCC staff informed the officials that the centre is responding to calls received from farmers through the toll-free number 155251 and issuing satellite-based alerts. The Integrated Call Centre has been providing agricultural advisories to farmers through the toll-free number, with experts assisting them on agriculture and allied-sector issues.
