Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated the doctors and medical staff of Osmania General Hospital for successfully performing a rare series of surgeries on a patient. The medical team worked continuously for 36 hours to carry out five major surgeries simultaneously on a 30-year-old engineer from Sircilla, showcasing exceptional dedication and expertise.
The doctors successfully transplanted the stomach, duodenum, pancreas, small intestine, and large intestine in a single operation, creating a rare medical record in India. The Chief Minister praised the team for achieving this milestone on National Doctors' Day, saying their accomplishment has brought pride to the medical profession and inspired the healthcare community.
