Charminar Plaster Falls Again.. Tourists Escape a Major Mishap!

Parts of the plasterwork from the first floor of Hyderabad’s iconic Charminar reportedly fell to the ground while repair work was in progress. The incident took place during the night, when no tourists were reportedly present in the immediate area, avoiding what could have been a serious mishap. The incident has once again drawn attention to the condition and maintenance of the historic monument.

According to the concerns raised by locals and visitors, plaster has fallen from different sides of the Charminar on earlier occasions as well, including the areas facing the Mecca Masjid and the Bhagyalakshmi temple. With tourists arriving from across the country to visit the monument, the repeated incidents have triggered criticism over its upkeep and the need for proper maintenance and safety measures.
