BRICS Countries’ Meetings in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam is set to host key BRICS-related meetings on August 22 and 23. Ministers from all 11 BRICS countries are expected to attend the meetings. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will also participate in the programmes. The discussions are expected to focus on youth-related issues, international cooperation and strengthening collaboration among BRICS member countries.

A meeting of Youth Ministers will be held on August 22, followed by the ‘Friendship Cycle’ event on Visakhapatnam Beach Road on August 23. The programmes are aimed at promoting friendship, cooperation and stronger ties among BRICS nations. The high-level meetings are expected to further enhance Visakhapatnam’s profile as a venue for major international events.
