Speaking at the Green Growth Economic Summit 2026, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka stressed that the state aims to become a global leader in sustainable AI infrastructure. He said Telangana should not only build world-class data centers but also set international standards for developing environmentally responsible AI ecosystems. He called for responsible use of water resources and urged AI companies to ensure that technological progress does not come at the cost of agriculture or natural resources.
Bhatti Vikramarka also introduced the Telangana government's 'People's Credit' concept, stating that the benefits of AI investments must reach ordinary citizens, rural youth, and traditional sectors. He highlighted opportunities for young people in Mahabubabad and Adilabad and said AI should support handloom workers in Sircilla. Inviting global investments, he reaffirmed that public welfare would remain the state's highest priority.
