Avinash Mohanty Takes Charge as TG SAFE Commissioner

Avinash Mohanty assumed charge as the Commissioner of TG SAFE on Monday. He formally took charge at the Drug Control Administration office.

The Telangana government has merged the Food Safety and Drug Control wings to establish TG SAFE with the aim of strengthening food and drug quality standards. The new body, Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs, will function under Mohanty, who will continue as its Director.
