Telugu states surge ahead in GST collections

The Telugu states have reported strong growth in GST collections during June. Telangana recorded an 11% increase, collecting ₹5,050 crore in GST revenue, while Andhra Pradesh saw a 5% rise with ₹3,548 crore collected. After post-settlement adjustments, Andhra Pradesh received ₹3,144 crore under SGST, whereas Telangana’s SGST stood at ₹3,994 crore. The figures indicate steady improvement in tax revenue performance across both states.
