TCS to Acquire Porsche’s IT Company

India’s largest IT services company, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has announced plans to acquire 100% of MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH (MHP), an IT subsidiary of German luxury carmaker Porsche AG. The enterprise value of the transaction is €320 million, approximately ₹3,574 crore. The acquisition is part of a five-year strategic partnership between TCS and Porsche worth €1.25 billion, or around ₹14,000 crore. The transaction is expected to close within three to four months, subject to regulatory approvals from the European Commission, Germany and Romania.

Headquartered in Ludwigsburg, Germany, MHP has around 4,500 employees and provides management and IT consulting services across the automotive, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, energy and public sectors. The company reported a turnover of €742 million, around ₹8,300 crore, in 2025. As part of the partnership, TCS will establish an AI Mobility Centre of Excellence dedicated to Porsche, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence in manufacturing, engineering, operations and customer experience. TCS CEO and MD K. Krithivasan said the partnership will help accelerate AI-led transformation in the automotive industry.
