New Instagram Feature Lets Users Add Captions to Every Slide

Instagram has introduced another much-awaited feature for its users. Until now, carousel posts containing multiple photos or videos could only have a single caption for the entire post. This often made it difficult for users and creators to explain each slide individually. To address this issue, Instagram has officially launched the “Multiple Captions” feature.

With this update, users can now add separate captions to every photo or video within a carousel post. As viewers swipe through the slides, the corresponding caption for each slide will be displayed. The feature is expected to be highly beneficial for product promoters, food reviewers, travel vloggers, and content creators who want to provide detailed information for every image or video. Instagram Head Adam Mosseri confirmed that the feature is being rolled out in India and will gradually become available to all users.
